You may want to consider an IDQ10V2D2 - higher sensitivity, more flexible enclosure requirements, and lower current draw. Woofersetc.com may still have some in stock. I'd also suggest staying away from a PDX5 due to its (random) noise issues. Good luck.

You may want to consider Boston Acoustics, too. Very clean sound. I ran them in my old Impala SS and I'm running them now, although there isn't any real base to speak of, so you'll probably still want that sub.

I do NOT like focal. I think they are overpriced for the performance they give off. I have yet to be wowed by their car audio or their home audio solutions.
I do like CDT Audio though. Really crisp, clean sound. They give have that "crack" sound. No distortion what so ever. You can get a good set from woofersetc for fairly cheap since they carry last years models.
I am currently running Exile XT65 components. These are great components, have great mid bass, and the tweeters scream when set up with +3db on the crossovers.
For rears I'm running Exile SX65c. These co-axials are great! No complaints there.
As far as amp(s), I believe in our heavy cars, just running 1 amp is good enough. My vote goes for JL Audio XD700. I have a G6600, and it is more than enough for my JL Audio W3 10", and powers my Exile speakers. I was running this same amp on my CDT set up in my VIII, made them purr.
BTW, I am running a Kenwood 9140 as well.

I got my XT65s directly from Bill at Exile. I got my XPe65s & SC65cs from Sounds Unlimited in McMinnville, OR. My XP65s were $250 and the XT65s were $325, well worth the extra $75. Was a special deal since I wasn't liking the XPe65s. I'm sure you could talk them down though

I have a full Hertz/Audisson set up in my truck and I love the sound. These speakers like power and the more you put through them, they will open up more. The Mille speakers will need a quality amp to bring the best out of them. My Mille 10 inch sub is powered my an Audisson mono amp, so if you're going Mille throughout your car, do not skimp on the power side of things...I also use a 5 farad cap and I've never had any issues with alternators or batteries or anything in my truck and I'm using the OE battery (yes, I should spring for a yellow top soon). The size of the amps will be an issue in the Evo with the limited trunk space. You could eliminate the spare tire and you would have no problem...a can of fix-a-flat and mini air compressor will get you going faster anyways.
Hertz makes really nice speakers and I've mixed and matched mine due to depth issues, so I have a mix of their Mille and Hi Energy lines (components in front with 6x9 in the front doors and 6inch in the back) again it will depend on the depth of these Evo x doors.
I'm already planning out the removal of the Rockford stuff and maybe going with Hertz/Audisson again on my X.

migs,i was looking on that jl xd 600, no 700.they rated same as your g 6600 but the xd is a little bit more smaller in size compared to the g's.iwas wondering though if it could power enough the hertz mlk165, factory rear speakers and jlw3 subs.i think hertz is rated at 150 rms. peak is 300.im going over the budget for comps speakers so i could done it right for the first time.
