BEATRUSH front member support bars install/review!!
Well, ive installed a whole slew of beatrush products and there arent too many install/reviews of them. Mostly because people opt to buy other brands or similar products that do the same function.
Anyhow just thought id share...
For the install items you will need
3/8 ratchet (or whatever you have around)
19mm socket
12mm socket
12 closed/open ended wrench
extension if you must
allen/hex key for beatrush provided bolts
First, jack the front end up and get out your jackstands (safety first!)
Then proceed to take out the 19mm main bolt on the lower control arm (towards rear)
then you can take out the qty:2 12mm bolts that you will reuse to mount the support bars ( see picture) note: you will need to take out the 12mm bolt on the inside of the frame rail area, not the one on the outside as seen in the picture. Also...on the drivers side i found it better to just use a open ended 12mm wrench since there are hard lines that run right by the bolt head on the inside of the frame rail.
Now you will replace one of the 12mm bolts with the provided beatrush bolt. i found it easier to get this one started first...then i proceeded to put the main 19mm control arm back in. Note: do not tighten anything down all the way until you have at least started all 3 bolts.
i used some of my spare Hondalock (blue) on the threads just so nothing backs out due to excessive vibrations from the semi-solid beatrush front mount and propellar shaft bushings. Its not needed by any means but i just like it for a little extra piece of mind. plus its good against vibration and moisture. haha!
Finished with both support bars and front performance bar installed!
Ill come back and update after i drive it a bit more for the review...stay tuned! lol
