Fuel Floater reading wrong, AEM EMS issue? anyone

I've done some research on here and google (other forums), but haven't really found any answer.

Last week my fuel level indicator on the dash got stuck at 1/4 tank. After shutting the car off, and back on, it was working again.

The other day i parked with a little less then 1/4 tank, and in the morning when i started her up, it was way below past the empty mark with the light on, but was only able to fill up about 35 Liter's, and the tank is 55 Liter's. So i obviously had gas.

Found some information where the AEM EMS could be the issue and there is something you can disconnect on the harness in order to minimize the problem, but there wasn't a direct solution, and i can't seem to find anything.

Can anyone shed some light....

Did you open up and pump assembly and see if the floater itself is not acting funny?

Yeah it's right under the driver's side read seat. Take a bit of manuvering/turning to get the assembly out. But if you looks at the floater you will understand. Just bend it straight out a bit.
