Hella Supertones Install
Anyone installed the hella supertones on the 8/9's? I know on NASIOC there were a few guides w/ pics... seeing if someone had something similar here in the evo community. Going to throw 2 on my 9, but looking for the best mounting location(s).
Thanks!
Thanks!

Simple install:
Hella Supertones have two wires, positive and negative. Positive goes into the FACTORY HARNESS and negative runs to ground .
As far as install location, I used the mounting bolt for the FMIC and the OE location for the second horn underneath the driver's side headlamp.

Here you are:
NO need for relay, just the Horns and (4) wires you make - (2) for Positive leads, (2) for Negative leads. I recommend soldering the positive leads to the OEM harness wires -hope this makes sense. I have attached four pics, one quick diagram and three of mine installed.
ps. these suckers are LOUD! Love 'em!

Well, I installed mine. I just put the 300mhz in the center behind the grill, and the 500mhz under the left front light mounting location. This was really simple without a doubt.

I just picked up a set and will install them this weekend. I think there is room for both to be placed right behind the grill above the intercooler and I plan on putting them there. will post pics.
