18x8 MSR 045 +45 offset Wheels on TB Lancer

installed new wheels, picked these up with goodyear Fierce hp tires about 80% tread left for 500 total.

wheels are 18x8 +45 tires are 225 40 18 and there is no rub at all even at full lock turn on stock height.

Discount wanted $275 to swap the tpms out of my gts wheels and put them into these and mount them. these tires were already mounted on these wheels so they were charging double labor! when you dont even have to fully unmount a tire to install tpms, i know this cuz i helped the mechanic at pepboys install the tpms ( i told him i wnated to learn how they went on).

that gets into where i had these done at, the last time i went to pepboys for service they tried to rape me for an oil change well i went again and this time the guy was like 12.99 a wheel, so i figured 12.99 * 8 (since the other 4 have to be unmounted too) he was like nah just the ones that are going on your car. and tpms ??? no extra charge, but were not 100% sure the tpms will work withj those wheels, since i already knew they would i told them no problem that we could test 1 then proceed with the rest and that after doing all 4 if the light comes on i would take care of it on my own and not hold them responsible. so the total was 52.00 + 29.99 for the tuner lug nuts and about 2.5 hours later (they were busy) the car was done and the wheels were on.

they even gave me a discount at the end

yep, so my brother has an es and he needed wheels bad (sooo much curbage on his es wheels) so i sold him my stocks so he basically needed to get done exactly what discount originally quoted me $275 for, the guy at pepboys who hooked me up wasnt there my dad and i found a local tire shop, told the guys we only had $40.00
cash, 45 min later gts wheels were mounted balanced tpms installed and working perfectly. F**K discount tire.

thanks!

yes it is the scosche dash kit with a lilliput screen custom installed hooked up to a car pc.

the wheels can be bought for about 150 a wheel. i got them off craigslist for dirt cheap with those tires. the only thing i dont like about the wheels is its hard to clean them they are a flat black...recently found out before this show the best way to clean them is after a wash dry the wheels as good as possible cleaning off most dirt, then spray them with Stoner TRIM SHINE and done badass looking clean wheels.

does anyone have one on or know where to see them? cause the color changes the whole car, instead of the black/black concept thats going on here

from the dead,

forgot to edit, i orig thought the wheels were +45 offset, 2 days later realized they were +35 offset, no rub at stock height with 225 40 18 tires but with 225 45 18s they will rub with people in the rear.

with a drop and 225 40 or 45 tires they will rub on speed bumps because of the low offset its best to roll rears with these wheels.
