I would use Redline Shockproof Heavy for Tcase. Been using it in my personal evo 8 for 67k miles with a billion track days. Used it my many DSM's before the Evo as well.

Redline MT90 for the 5spd and Redline 75w90 for the rear diff

Amsoil severe gear 75-90 GL5 in the tcase& rear end. I hear that redline has a wax that can accumulate and cause problems.

MT-90 is a GL-4, you want to use a GL-5 in the transfer case such as Redline 75W-90 GL-5.

* 2qt - Redline MT-90 (transmission)
* 1qt - Redline MTL (transmission)
* 2qt - Redline 75W-90 GL-5 gear oil (transfer case and rear differential)

I've been using this routine for 2+ yrs with success!

I am with GST. Heavyweight Shockproof in the TC and Redline 75W-90 in the rear diff. I have 115,000 miles on my Evo so far. I don't beat on it like Bryan does though

The Super DiaQueen sucked enough that I have been using Castrol Syntorq LT in my 6 speed tranny since 12,000 miles.

That being said, there are plenty of fluids that will work. I didn't like the metal content of my TC oil which is why I switched to the Redline Heavyweight early on.

You can use shockproof in the t-case but you must use Diaqueen in the Rear.. If you use Shockproof in the rear the clutch plates will not work properly. In the Trans I use Motul .

I personal use shockproof in my t-case; in hopes to keep the t-case safe and reduce heat build up.

It is quite safe to use Redline Heavyweight Shockproof in the TC. The only caveat is it's quite viscous, so if you like changing fluids a lot it will be a PITA to get out.

It is also fine to use Redline 75W-90 gear oil in the rear diff. The clutch packs will work fine.
