from what i read here Yes It Can.
don't boost at all if you suspect a bad tune.
is your engine blown already?

Yes a bad tune can most definitely contribute to a blown engine.

yeah
definitely
things such as AFR where the fuel is too lean can be dangerous and can cause massive kncks...timing off etc etc

too much boost , AFR's , too lean , to much timing . It can all contribute to a blown engine . Just depends how bad it is !! It's not a good thing !!

Yes, If the tune is causing an incredibly lean situation it can scorch the pistons or cylinder walls and ruin the motor. Also, if the ECU is causing an overboost situation, these two things in combination are one way of many possible ways a tune could blow the motor.

Yes a bad tune can blow an engine. Pretty much what everyone else is saying. AFR too lean, ignition too advance which will make a lot of knock. It will also cause really high engine temperatures which will cause stuff to melt.

There are a lot of factors in a tune that can damage an engine but these are the main ones.

If you have to ask this question, then writing a "college" paper on it may not be a good idea. You should be doing research on this topic, NOT asking an online forum where you have no clue if the information is factual or not. 95% of the people on car forums don't really know what they are talking about and just regurgitate what they heard someone else say if it be true or not.

Choose a subject that you know, or do some research the old fashion way.

Too much timing advance can induce knock which will pit the crown's of your pistons. Will also take a toll on the crank's bearings, rods, etc.
