ID2000 scaling and latency

Updated (ECU map screenshot in post #7)---

I will get in more detail later tonight when I get the video up and pix of all the maps but here is the basics:

Gasoline- Shell 92

Scaling is 1624, latencies (very responsive) is:

9.38- .936
11.72- .672
14.06- .504
16.41- .384

My RPM VE table is low 90s in the idle section and the MAPVE is basically 1:1

Fuel pressure- stock 43.5psi

Idles on the O2 sensor which is a total departure from how this setup works on 160# or 1600s. I am really looking forward to getting my 2.2 in the car and really leaning on it. The idle is at 1.034msc just like Tony showed in the video and it is perfectly happy...maybe even better than the RC1000s that I just took out.

I knew you were going to love these. Imagine how well the ID1000's idle. Sure you give up top end flow but for a street car they are amazing.

That is fantastic, especially after seeing how 1600s like idling on pump gas.

Tony1 got them to idle on a stock Integra LS so I didnt think we'd have any problems with a larger motor and larger cams. I havent done all the driveability but just moving around the neighborhood and the parking lot the car drives fine (14.7-15 with the O2 on). It starts up cold idles at 14.7 for about 15 seconds and then goes to low 12s till the O2 warms up and cycles and then idles like stock...with S2s.

These are so much better than the 1600s and 1680s I messed around with back in the day. I gave up and was only willing to spend time with those on E85 or E98 thinking that nothing large would ever idle right on gas. They barely idled right on E85.

Jens came out with the Bluemaxes and I was really impressed by how much better they were than the older style Bosch designs. I have heard the old style 1600s (NOT FIC BLUEMAXES) likened to firehoses since they werent ever designed to run anything other than CNG. I knew the ID1000s had potential and when Tony and ID announced 2000 (well 2245 at 43,5) I was ready

I sold my 1600s and 1000s, got these, will be getting a MagnaFuel 625 Pro Street pump and going back to E85 on 4 injectors instead of 8 with a piggyback.

Bryan I even did a video to show what they are doing in the car.

The video will take a little bit cause I have to Luke edit it and we are heading to the dyno with the Drag Evo. Gonna put it back on a stock ECU at the rate things are developing.

hmmmm wants to drive in the 13s with those settings....still idles fine though. I have the scaling at 1624 and the latency cut down .075 from where they were....seems better but we are playing the Evo right now.

E85 will be in there before too long, its hard getting time to work on my own stuff sometimes

Bryan, these will work on a MAF car just as easy I am sure.

Are you scaling the injectors based on idle or WOT AFR measurements?

I always set my WOT table to what a stock table should look like more or less, set scaling to match, and then adjust latency.

It so happens that the latency ended up as close to identical to the 45psi latency settings that T1/ID ships with the injectors. I updated the tables as well, so the initial settings have changed.

Dave,

I want 4 injectors and 800whp+ capability on E85 Now for the big pump and the rest of the fuel system.
