494.4whp 400ft.lbs at 24psi
We to the dyno on Saturday to do some tuning on a customers car we have been working on. It's a pretty basic set up. We are getting full boost by 4700-4900rpm.
RnR GT35R Kit
3" TB
750's
Walbro
Autotronic
Big FMIC
IC pipes
etc,etc.
The load cycles are not set. So all power is baout 10% lower than they should be. We are very happy with the results and the car makes power so easily. Very very little tuning was even done on it as we were still learning to mess with the ECU.
We first started with 91 octane pump gas that we get out here in Cali.
We made 390whp on
91 octane pump gas
20psi
11 degrees of Total timing
dyno dynamics AWD dyno(suppost to red low)
11.2 A/F on dyno wide band
I believe we could have made about 430-440whp on pump, but we didn't want to push it. We just left the timing and boost real low and decided to move onto the race gas as it was real late in the day already.
On C-16 race gas we made 494.4whp, but ran into some problems we only got one run before it came to an end. We believe it ripped an IC hose or Intercooler because as you will see on the dyno graph it popped something. We immediately let off the gas as you will see on the graph.
So with no real tuning on race gas we only got one dyno pull. We will do a pressure test to see where the porblem is this week. As you can see in the graph the power was going way up and would have probably made 530whp.
We plan to make 550-570whp once we can tune the fuel and timing. We also plan to run 29psi.
made 494whp
24psi
C-16
10.9 A/F on dyno wide band
18 degress of timing
no load cyclces we set
AWD dyno dynamics dyno(low reading)
RnR GT35R Kit
3" TB
750's
Walbro
Autotronic
Big FMIC
IC pipes
etc,etc.

There are really a lot of different options out there, but the base kit is $3600 I believe depending on what you want to have done.
You can also PM if you need pricing.

There are to many variables.
I would say the GT30R would make 350-400whp on pump.
The GT35R can make a lot more on pump too. We plan to make about 430whp on pump with the 35R on a AWD dyno.

Just wanted to thank RnR racing for a great product and opening up their weekend schedule to get the dyno session. The owner of the EVO8 flew us into SanDiego for the Autronic tuning. There was definately more power available on pump gas, but we started off with a base tune and didn't want to push "too far" so that we had ample opportunity to run with race gas
The race gas run was phenominal and we started with purposely running rich at 10.9. We will have more runs with more timing and targeting a bit leaner.
Just wanted to say that the RnR kit is awesome and makes significant power gains...finally there's a kit and a vendor willing to go BEYOND current recommendations for turbo-kits as the owner wants to make some huge power gains and post some unreal track results in the future.
