When you have a major overhaul to a car or any vehicle, the next few years are minor upgrades to fix the most gripes about it. When Yamaha released their 2006 YZ 450, the following years saw very few updates. 2010 will be a major overhaul. Usually works that way with everything. There shouldn't be any major upgrades, only revisions the following years. Would it have been nice to add some extra horsepower? Sure, but personally I'd rather start where it's at and add my own horse. I've found over the years cars with a lot of horsepower get rattly and make noise a lot sooner than cars without it. Perhaps
