I can bounce mine off the rev limiter in sport mode all day. I noticed it first on the test drive. It does it from 1st to 2nd, and less so from 2nd to 3rd. If I put it in S-Sport, it does the exact same thing. Seems to me that Mitsu should have set the shift point about 150 rpm sooner, so the shift would get off in time to avoid that bounce, but who knows. The car has padles if I don't like where its shifting, I can shift it my self.

On a side note, the salesman nearly cried during the test drive when I exclaimed "hey, the red line on this tach is apparently meaningles, cause we're shifting 500rpm over it..."

Maybe you had to be there.
