Ok here we go...
This Evo 10 came back in after addressing some fuel delivery problems.
For the back history on this Evo 10 on E85 see the 1st post in this thread.
parts added since last time:
Walboro Fuel Pump upgrade (maxed out the stock one on E85)
Forge wastegate actuator
Pierburg 3port boost solenoid
Fuel control came back. Went from shooting up to 13.5 AFR at 6500 last time to 10.1 AFR this time on the base run.
The single 3port boost solenoid gave up nothing to the stock two solenoid arrangement and added control and precision over the factory 2port (the same things we always see when upgrading to a 3port in the Evo 8/9)
The Forge Wastegate helped to hold more boost. However, the stock turbo is now done within this arrangement @ 41lb. The airflow would just flat line and the turbo would supply no more flow.
Keep in mind everything is still just bolt ons, no porting, a quiet "stealth" exhaust and still
stock cams.
This time around it made:
380whp / 371wtq
Great power for a Evo 10 on the stock turbo and cams so far on our dyno.
and boost before with stock actuator and stock solenoids:
You can see I tuned in 1psi-2psi more in the low and midrange over last time. From 5500 on, the stock boost control system was maxed out 100% duty cycle before. You can see now with the upgraded WGA and 3port I was able to get almost 2 more psi out of it 5500 to redline
