IDC - Injector Duty Cycle - same as what you call injector signal.
The little box is called the junction box.
If he disconnected the wire from the injector signal and connected it to map sensor, then the DDS3 has no idea what the injector is doing. This is why it will not spray anything but will trigger. It is saying ok I will turn on, but then when it tries to match the IDC there is nothing there.
