A good failsafe mechanism that can monitor flow and supply level and take action if necessary should basically be a requirement if you tune for the water/methanol being injected. If you are just injecting water/methanol on top of a safe or factory tune that's not dependent on the water/methanol then you should be OK..........but IMO thats a waste if whats being attempted to be done with the water/methanol injection is more then just cooling the intake air charge down.

There's a stickied thread in this section that helps to explain failsafes and why to use.........if tune for the W/A get a failsafe that you trust will do what you want it to do.
