WOW 1.5's 60 footers on street tires you must be one of the best drivers in this forum . Seriously I can't see you cutting 1.5's on street tire other than maybe some drag radials. And with regards to the .1-.2 seconds at best on the 60' times, with a 1.75 60' I ran a 10.98 @ 131. Two weeks later I installed the tires in question on this thread and although I didn't have the b@lls to launch hard, I did manage a 1.55 60 footer which dropped my time to 10.48 @ 133. Humm, half a second for the mere .2 in the 60 foot time seems like a good gain to me, and my car is in full street trim, Sunroof, A/C, Power Steering, and interior.
