Nice work.
Just because the welds aren't pretty doesn't mean it's not going to work. I've seen alot of pretty welds fail. As long as you get the right penetration and fuse the parts correctly, your golden. The good thing about welds is you can grind them smooth and make them look pretty. Night courses are o.k. but if you get a seasoned welder to show you some tips and tricks, even better. And of course, practice and trial and error. Keep up the great work!
