The Official Wide Tire Thread
Only post pics, details, and comments/advice about your setup. Reserve comments about others setups for PM's. This is a thread of people who have done "wider than normal" tires and what they have done to achieve this. If you have LARGER THAN 255s, then post up specs and pics.
Include all of the following and maintain the Bold Headings.
Year/Make/Model: 2005 GG MR
Wheels: 18X9.5 Enkei NT03+M +40 w/25mm spacers up front
Tires: 285/30-18 Kumho Ecsta V710 (DOT slicks)
Suspension: Vishnu/Gerrard Ohlins
Alignment: -3.0f/-1.5r 1/16th toe-out front & 0 toe rear
Fenders Rolled or Cut: Heavy rolling front / minor rolling rear
Other Body modifications: None
Advice: Keep it simple, and go with things that are proven to work. Don't just slap together random $200 braces and bars. Do your research, make a plan, and then follow it. Yes, there is more than one way to go fast.
In the event you do not have the specs for one of the "areas" please include it with N/A.

Year/Make/Model: 2003 Black GSR
Wheels: 17X9 5-Zigen FN01R-C +35 no spacers
Tires: 275/40-17 Falken Azenis 215
Suspension: Megan Racing Street Coilovers, whiteline F&R Swaybars
Alignment: -2.7f/-1.7r 0 toe front & rear
Fenders Rolled or Cut: Heavy rolling rear / no rolling front
Other Body modifications: None
Advice: This was a simple setup that netted quick Auto-x times in a SM class. I drove an AS Evo on the OEM tires back to back with this car and my SM car was ~1-2 sec faster on a 30sec course. However, my car was more prone to oversteer and was more difficult to drive at the limit. The stock car felt more composed. If you want the look of wide tires as cheaply as possible, I really don't know of a setup that could be done for less than this. But there are better performance options out there.
Pictures: N/A but will add later.

lol, this is the specs on my old car, my 03. My 06 stayed unmodified until the day I got rid of it. I don't own an Evo anymore... but I still felt I should contribute since I have a little bit of knowledge on this subject.

Tires: 275/40-17 Falken Azenis 615
Suspension: Cusco Zero 2R
Alignment: -2.6f/-1.5r 0 toe all around
Fenders Rolled or Cut: Only rolled rear
Other Body modifications: None
I'll throw up some pictures when I get to the home computer. Another thing I think would be useful would be:
Rubbing? Some in the front (fender liner) and some in the rear - both very minor.

I'm really surprised that you don't have to roll your front fenders with that set-up. My 285 V710s on 9.5s with an effective +25mm offset just barely clear the fender with the camber plates maxed out. You're running the same camber plates, 1/2" wider wheels, 3mm less offset, 1/2" wider tires, and, based on pictures, a lower ride height.
