I have no answer on how many times the ecu can be flashed. I've read a couple of threads regarding that..not related specifically to the AP..but I don't think it matters....some people have said they have flashed the ecu hundreds and hundreds of times.....

in your case though if the theft thing is such a major concern...as I feel with this car it is...why don't you just pull out your fuse then...by doing that you could even put your key into the ignition and it still won't turn over....the only way anyone could ever steal the car is if they loaded it onto a trailer, towtruck etc.
