Aftermarket rims, No alignment????
Who has gotten aftermarket rims [18in or larger] and hasn't gotten an alignment?
I put 18' Volks on and the car feels just fine, doesn't sway one way or the other, so i'm wondering who else DID NOT get an alignment, how are your tires? Handling feels ok?

If it goes straight, no pull to either side, your good. If you got the teins, then you need an alignment. Tein has the most agressive drop for springs, so the fronts tend to get a little worn on the inside if the camber/caster isnt adjusted. But personally I like to corner my car, so a little camber, more gripping performance, is worth the tire ware to me.

i,m going from stock to 18x9 rims and 245x40 tires and am definetely getting an alignment.going from 17 to 18,s you should definetely get an alignment even if it feels ok. Better safe than sorry for less than 100.00. just my opinion

Any time you put aftermarket rims on that are different that the stock wheels, you should get an alignment. Only way you wouldn't get an alignment is if the new wheels were the same offset, same tire size, and width.
