Manual headlight adjustment...
my car is lowered and the distance of my HID's have decreased...i want to adjust the headlights higher than what the motorized adjuster lets me, and my friend adjusted 1 of my headlights for me cuz they were off, but i cant remember which bolt he used to adjust the HID beams higher, i looked behind the headlight today and i saw a 10mm bolt surounded by a black wheel type thing, is that what i turn to adjust it up or down? let me know, i checked in how to and theres only a write up but doesnt tell what bolt it exactly is

ok i still dont get it, the 10mm bolt pictured in the how-to adjusts only the high beams, HIDs dont move whatsoever by adjusting with that bolt, am i missing something? some people say use a screwdriver? which nut/bolt is it then?

Stripped Black Screw Instructions

If you look at the assembly closely, then you will see a 10mm bolt and a black gear that moves with it when you spin the bolt.
IF YOU STRIP THE BLACK PLASTIC GEAR, then you will have to seperate it from the 10 mm bolt assembly. It is held on by two philips screws(easily accessible on the passenger side, not sure about the drivers side). You can then turn the black plastic gear by hand which is a lot faster than turning the bolt anyways. To clear things up... the black plastic gear adjusts the headlights.

i wanted to add that separating the assembly may affect the high beam adjustments... the high beams could possibly be adjusted by the 10 mm bolt, so you may want to double check.

ok...the BLACK 10 MM bolt thats in the middle of the 2 gears adjusts the level of the HIGH BEAMS not HIDs. This is what happened when i tried it, now i just need a picture or specific description on what bolt it is exaclty to adjust the HIDs. so confused...
