TSComptuned - stock block evo 8 GSR FP Black speed density 93oct 26psi

EDIT: CAR WAS TUNED ON MAF BY ACCIDENT. MIKE FORGOT TO UNPLUG/REMOVE THE MAF! - WILL POST SD RESULTS UP WITHIN THE NEXT 2 WEEKS.

The last time i tuned this car was a long time ago! Mike is one of my long term good customers. The last tune i gave him lasted almost 2 years on 93oct.

He swapped out cams, converted to speed density, purchased a tial Q from me, a Buschur ported 65mm TB, Curt Brown Ported intake manifold & Exhaust manifold, Kelford 272, VRSF FMIC/UICP/LICP, and i believe that's it. Mike does all his own mechanical work.

Tom never siezes to amaze me. My car is now making more HP safely on 93 oct alone than I thought possible. It drives smooth and is very streetable. Starts up cold better than before and is just a good mannered car to drive on the street.......until you put your foot in it. Once you hear the turbo spool it turns into a homicidal maniac looking for any "race" car around to shred up in pieces laughing the whole time lmao.
Tom I would like to thank you once again for providing me with the best tuning I have expierenced to date...Yes I have been threw a few tuners, and keep up the amazing tuning. My car is a maniac looking to kill any car that gets in its way, but thats what I wanted ha ha. BTW basket ball shorts rule. lol

Ya it did go up at the end like it was running out of fuel. I don't think this walbro 255 is modified & its 4 years old (might need a new sock/filter on it). I can richen it up quite easily though, but since it was done at night i let it go since it didn't pass 12. I usually will stay within 11.5 on 93, sometimes 11.7-11.8, but typically i like to keep 93 within 11.5 or richer.

I'm sure its richer during the day. These runs were done at night at around 3am, so the air was real cold and dense im sure.

Thanks Mike! Love reading these reviews after tuning customers. I appreciate the kind words! Be easy on the car though lol. don't go around hammering it in 4th at 3000RPM and so forth, it will spike the torque quite a bit.

I'm glad you're happy and it made good power. Oh and stop smashing the rev limiter in 3-4th gear etc. no need! only time you should be hitting the limiter is with tire spin in lower gears.

Ya Mikes car made good power. So will yours again. Now you want a black over your other choice? If you've never owned a larger turbo, a black may be a good choice to get the feel for how they respond. the black is my favorite turbo out of the ones i've ran.

Car is making some serious power on pump gas.

I like how the owner is claiming the numbers that are 10whp/tq higher than the other 2 pulls so he can say he makes over 500whp

The car did legitimately make that! It's not like some of the sketchy dyno work on other forums with crazy correction factor etc. I can't believe how good that dyno sheet looks though... FP Black normally looks too laggy to me for a stock block, but this dyno looks excellent. 4500 for peak torque and pulling hard to redline. With some headwork and some more rpms this car would be bananas.

his sig says map s1 head, maybe he forgot to mention it to tom. that would explain the spool and overall power.

Great tune, at that torque you aren't taxing anything.

Oh nod, I didn't notice that. That certainly would explain how that torque holds and holds.

Thanks Tiago. your FMIC is working nice.

Its still stressing stuff, but it should hold up at that torque level.

Thanks for the kind words.

Its not a ported head, its stock. I'll have Mike respond to make sure though. The reason the torque is holding is because look at the boost curve. I have it going up towards the end. Im going to post his old tune later today and do an overlay. the old tune had a peaky tq curve at the beginning.
