XXR Wheel fitment??

Someone help me with this I don't know much about offsets and whatnot for wheels.

What XXR wheels fit the IX with the OEM Brembos?

Im interested in 521's in 18x8.5 in flat black or 18x10 (do 10" even fit??)

Also interested in the 530's in any of the 18" sizes.

Id also need to know if the fenders need modding/rolling, spacers yes/no, flux capacitor, etc. Thanks.

the XXR 521s will require a spacer up front...maybe a 20mm...to clear the brembos.

They (18x10) will also stick out quite a bit IMO. The 8.5" will fit a lot better but might not have the same aggressive look you might be seeking...I did see another pic of an evo 8/9 with 8.5" 521s and they were not bad!

There are a few threads on XXR wheel fitment questions around....I looked for a minute for you but only found the unofficial Evo X XXR Wheel fitment thread....I know I've seen a couple for the 8/9 evos...

GL!!

i dont know if the 18x10 and 18x8 have the same clearance, but i believe it's a 25mm spacer needed to clear the front caliper

18x8 is a mcuh easier wheel to fit than 18x10. 18x10 is a full roll and a little pull possibly

17x8.5 +25 521's will fit with out a spacer. I have two that I test fitted on my 05 and it cleared the caliper. I was able to spin the wheel without it hitting.

I also have a set of 17x9.75 +25 XXR 527's and they also clear with out a spacer. I have 1/16 of an inch and the closest part of the front caliper.

Xxr 521

Your XXR 521's will fit WITHOUT spacers up front and in the rear. My rear fenders are rolled, but they wouldn't rub anyway. My fronts are aftermarket fenders, but I would say a roll up front would be needed. Without spacers, they fit flush all around, almost perfect. I'm lowered about 1" from stock which leaves about an inch of wheel gap. Tires are 245/40/18 on the XXR 521 18x8.5 +25

Hope that helps.

Looks awesome. What about fender pulling/rolling or anything else?

No fenders are rolled or pulled. I'm sitting on some generic eBay coilovers about 1.5 lower than stock. No rubbing.
