I have an odd noise at idle after my timing belt change. almost sounds like something isnt lubed. Checking PS fluid and it full. No leaks So stumped.. Any thoughts?

Sounds like ball bearings to me, so that's a pulley. Start it with the serp belt off and see if it still makes the noise, that we we can isolate it to the serp or timing belt.

UGH... Ever since the timing belt change I have had nothing but issues. Car Jumped timing so rebuilt the head so everything is new. Really dont want to have it pulled apart again. Guess I dont have much of a choice

Replaced all the pulleys both timing and serpentine. Still making the noise. Only does it when the car gets warm and sounds like its around the crank pulley... Any other thoughts?

Thats why they say when you replace the timing belt to replace all pulleys and timing belt tensioner.

What about the serpentine tensioner pulleys? Off the top of my head I can think of 6.

Serpentine idler and tensioner pulley.

Power steering pulley, AC Pulley.

Timing belt idler and tensioner pulley.

If all of those are new, make sure you have proper tension on the timing belt. The grenade pin should slide in and out without friction after rotating the engine by hand a few times and letting it sit for up to a few hours. Took me like 5 tries to get this right last time I did mine.

There's been some cases where the timing belt rubbed the crank sensor.

Did you make sure you have the belt on in the right direction? I have heard of belts making noise if they are installed backwards.

did u check balance shaft ? i had that on weird when i did timing and made a loud noise

if you didn't get the updated tensioner and bracket then that's why your belt is squealing

Thanks everyone. I had my shop do the work so they ordered the parts. Not sure if its updated or not. How can I tell?

You'd have to look at the part number they ordered; there's a different one for the updated bracket

1091A133 is the part number for the new bracket i believe

Totally stumped. Everything has been replaced. Tensioners pulleys and engine bracket. Noise is still there. And only presents its self at warm idle. So the noise doesnt start till the car gets warm. Here is a pic of where the noise is coming from
seems like its right around that thin piece of metal.. LMK what i am missing
