Evo X black lower window trim on an RA?
anyone given this a crack yet or taken measurements? would look great with a plastidip nose job on an RA...chrome trim be damned!

why not just plasti dip is as well?? its just a few screws you got to take off inside the doors..

really? i just read a thread about how noone has had any luck getting it off w/o damaging it or dealing with a MAJOR pain in the ass.

.......clean the chrome REAL good ( i used alcohol 3 times )
..mask off the rubber around the chrome strips and spray them with plasti-dip.
mine came out looking good ( looks like the rubber around it ) , and has been done for several months now.
just take your time.
also.............practice spraying on something else before doing the strips so you can "get a feel" for how the coating goes on.

I removed mine, masked and sprayed them. They're drying so I'll have pics tomorrrow.

You could also buy the GSR ones, though they are like 30 dollars a piece.

if you order from your dealer....order the window trim for an '09 lancer DE.
this is what i will do soon.
i bet the parts will be cheaper if you say you are getting them for a DE....
....rather than the "expensive" exoX !
