The following is to fix that annoying warning that everyone gets when they change or swap rims. For myself this solution is cheaper than swapping the sensor from my winter rims to my summer rims. The materials cost 12 $ and this is a one time thing.

Here is what you will need.
1 pvc pipe adaptor 4".
1 pvc cap 4".
1 abs plug 4".
pvc cement.
1 valve stem.

You will also need the following items.
Drill, drill bits, pliers and 15 minutes of your time.

1- Here is the material needed.


2- Drill the pvc pipe anywhere, you will need this hole to insert the stem. The size will vary on the size of the stem that you will select.


3- Put cement around drilled hole.



4- Insert valve stem and pull tightly with pliers.



5- Put pvc cement around cap and adapter section.
Note. The cement smells really strong and this should be done in a well ventillated area.




6- Insert cap on the end.



7-Finished product, you can paint it any colors you like.




Then you simply put your sensors inside the canister with cotton *****, and inflate it to the required psi. You toss that thing in your spare tire storage and your car will think your tire pressure is alright. No matter how many times you change your tires, rims or swap from winter to summer, you will not have to pay that dude to re-install those sensor on your new rims everytime. If you ever have any problem or need your sensor for anything, simply unscrew the top of the abs cap and voila.

Why wouldnt this work, i had my summer tires in my car today, the havent been on the car for 2 months, and the warning did not come on when they were in my back seat. They havent been rotated or spun in a while!

nice work sir! why stop at a little canister though? really take it to the next level and make it look like a n02 bottle or something for a joke! Capacitor? fire exinguisher? the possibilities are endless!

Question. Are the sensors inside the stock tires? Or are the bolted on the back of the rim? Or???
