go to an audio store, or even e-bay sometimes, and get yourself a LOC-80. It just connects to the factory speaker signal wires and converts it to an RCA signal. Just run the rca cables like normal on an aftermarket style setup but plug them into the LOC thats connected right behind the stereo. good luck
if you want i'll take mine back apart and get you some pics and wiring colors if you need them

Check out some of the Evo X audio threads, There is a unit from Metra (thinks its called a Metra-02) which is a direct plug and play

cant just go around doing that, that would be jeopardizing my livelihood...lol
i used the two rear speakers for source for the amp so i could keep the mids and highs clear up front in the doors and tweeters. so for the wiring coming off the back of the radio, here are the colors:
left rear positive = yellow with a blue stripe
left rear negative = gray with a blue stripe
right rear positive = yellow with a red stripe
right rear negative = gray with a red stripe
i still havent gotten motivated enough to take my dash back apart for some pics yet, but i'll get to it eventually. good luck

I'm currently working on this as well. Another similar question i had was how to route the power wire? I can find at least 2 usable gromets on the passenger side, but i cant find out how to reach them from INSIDE the car, and its pissing me off. I have the rest of the system pretty much ready to go, if i could only run this damn wire!!! any help is appreciated, thx.

those ones on the passenger side are actually behind the glovebox if you want to access them. just look behind the dash there and follow the harness up to the grommet. i personally just routed mine along with the hood cable on the driver's side and used that grommet inside the fenderwell. saved on wire and having to run it across the engine bay from the battery

Thanks, i was able to get my power wire run yesterday. I saw a wiring diagram around here yesterday that would help both me and the above poster. If anybody knows where to find it, could you please post the link? It was extremely helpful. Thanks!

search for Metra ALOC205 this is the one that bridges to your speaker lines and gives you RCAs
