License Plate Install
Quick questoin for you RA owners like me out there. I just got my plate's waiting for my frames before i put them on. Anyways, i was going to mountfront plate in the middle and i see 2 very small pre-drilled little bump where screws would go.
My question is do i need anything special to drill into these and mountmy plate?ihope i dont have to just put two screws in and leave them like that, i feel like it would rattle out and potentially fall off from overtime shaking abuse you know?
Lemme know what you guys did if you can, Thanks a lot!!

the car should have come with two rubber/expandable nuts.
BUT.........if you feel you need to have a front plate....
......do yourself a favor..go to your dealer and order the evo-x bumper mount
it will cost about 35$ and maybe they will discount the price since you just bought the car.
........and........YES , it will work on the ralliart.

I think front plates look....strange when it's in the middle of the bumper on our RAs. Get a side-mount plate . You don't necessarily have to drill holes in the bumper, just get some industrial strength mounting tape.

^what he said. and while youre there, ask the service writer to have it installed for you. they should do it for free if they're a decent group of guys seeing as how it literally takes two minutes to put on, and it saves you the headache (and heartache) of drilling into your bumper, let a trained professional do it for you

I just got the Evo side mount myself, I have yet to install it (terrible weather in NY the past few days) I am hoping when I take my front plate off that the wholes they had to drill will not be extremely obvious. If anybody finds a good way to make it look good at least at a distance definitely post how!!

Hole plugs. You can find them at most hardware stores in the screw/bolt/nut section. They should have a pretty big variety at somewhere like Lowes or Home Depot, so you will want to either just buy a bunch (they are pretty cheap) and try them all, or bring in one of your screws from the plate and try to find something that will match (or you could measure the hole). Either way it will probably be some trial and error to get the best looking ones. =)

holes/grommets are 1/2 inch in diameter. save you some headache, i hope, while you're out trying to find the right size plug at home depot or wherever. good luck, let us know what you find
