Retractable Front Plate
Here is the solution I went with for mounting the front plate.
First, I purchased the mount from Swift Motorsports. They have a motorized version, but I went with the manual one.
I chose to use one of the existing body screws to mount the bracket
After removing all the screws and fasteners, I was able to gain access to the inside of the front lip
I used tape on the flat retaining nuts to keep them in place once they were in position
After getting the rear screws in position, i had to button the front back up, which is why I taped down the retaining nuts
Using the retaining nuts with the screws is much more secure than using the self-expanding studs included with the kit
Here it is fully opened
And with the plate retracted
I chose the off-center position because it didn't require me to cut at the plastic to make room for the bracket. I did ask a cop if it was ok to have it off center like that, and he begrudgingly said that it was sort of ok, because it was better than either not having the front plate, or mounting it off all the way to the side like on the EVO X mount
I felt that this was a better way to go than drilling into the front or using the Evo X side mount.
I hope someone finds this post to be useful

wow not bad... but i choose to keep my front end clean.. regardless of what the cops say... they don't seem to care as much in my area... but for those that have to have a front plate thats a pretty neat idea.

Yeah that retractable plate is bad ***, but I went ahead and ordered the Evo X side mount from the dealership was about $40. I'll put up pic after my phone uploads all my music.

I have decided not to install the 129$ motorized hide-a-way plate if anyone is interested shoot me a p.m. I let it go cheaper than what I paid for it.
