Which test pipe and who made it? The smell could be burn off from your new pipe check to see if you are blowing out white smoke. Take your car out and run it around for a bit(not hard) to try and burn what is on the test pipe off. Then stop rev the car not real hard but give it some and watch the exhaust fumes and check for white smoke coming out. If it does for more then a day or so better get it checked out. Try this after you get your O2 CEL fixxed first.

i know the car has always smelled really rich. but it kinda does smell like oil maybe its just from new pipe. but i have been driving it for three days now you would think that all the oil on the new pipe would have burned off by now

I just installed a test pipe. It did change the smell of the exhaust. I have not noticed any smoking though. I would think that it is normal to smell different since it is missing the cat....Oh and I also have a cel. I plan to hook the output from my wide band to the factory sensor wire and see if this fixes it.

Sounds like you might have a leak. Or the wind was blowing from your rear blowing the fumes forward. Could be a leak tho. If so you deff want to get that fixed soon.
