How to make 300/300 on an RA?

What mods are considered to be a full bolt-on Ralliart? How much power would that be?

What would be the least expensive upgrade path to a reliable 300/300 whp/trq on a Ralliart?

Yes, I have searched. If I missed what I'm looking for, please point me there.

Thanks...

I think he wants a full list of parts... not just a yeah/nay on turbo upgrade.

For a full list of parts, he might need to do some searching. The information is already on these forums. However, the parts list will change depending on which direction he wants to go. I think what GST was saying is that 300/300 is unattainable UNLESS you go with a turbo swap.

To OP, the cheapest option is for an EVO X turbo swap. You did miss some threads, but it will be easier for you to search for the necessary components than for me to search and provide you with the link.

Also, the thing to remember is that the Ralliart engine itself is the same as the EVO's, but the bolt ons are different. As far as engines are concerned, the Ralliart can make as much power as the EVO given the same modifications.

Well we haven't had very many modded RA's on our dyno yet, but from what I have seen with the Evo 10's and what I have seen tuning the RA's I would imagine a 300whp recipe on a 09+ RA, on our Mustang dyno, on 91 oct, should read something like this:

1. Evo 10 turbo
2. Evo 10 intake
3. Evo 10 FMIC
4. Evo 10 or aftermarket IC pipes
5. TBE
6. Boost pill upgrade
7. tune

Done.

A healthy Evo 10 GSR can go from 220whp stock to 290-300whp with just a tune and boost pill upgrade on our dyno. Everything else stock. However, a Evo 10 MR needs at least adding a TBE to do that.

Any idea why the GSRs read higher than the MRs? I think Mike at RRE said the same thing about their dyno: friendlier to the GSRs.

Depends on the dyno, but more than likely between 260 and 280. GST uses a mustang dyno, so maybe 260 by his numbers.

As I said, it depends on the dyno. Your mileage will vary.

loss of power through the drivetrain. always more through automatic trans...even though it is only automatically-controlled yet still clutch-based

The stock RA turbo is very small. Getting 300+ whp on any proper reading dyno on pump gas is probably not going to happen. If you were to try, you would have to run as much boost as the thing could produce. I wouldn't expect the turbo to last long like that, and I wouldn't expect it to run the times that the dyno number would indicate.
