Stock intercooler core sizes
I've seen some wondering about the core sizes of RA vs EvoX intercoolers.
Ralliart: W 17.75" x H 6.75" x D 2.5"
EvoX: W 19.25" x H 11.5" x D 2.75"
That works out to about 300 cubic inches for the RA; about 609 cubic inches for the EvoX.

Awesome post. I can see now the Evo X being a staright up upgrade for those with Ralliarts. Thnaks for sharing. By the way, I knew the Evo X was more than just the turbo and more agressive tune. People never mentioned stuff like the intercooler differences..
WOW, now that I am looking at the Ralliart intercooler picture I realize it is like the Eclipse Intercooler but even longer. I will actually grab my stock Eclipse intercooler and post the dimensions just for the heck of it.

Unfortunately, it's not a direct swap as you'll need some new upper IC pipes, and at a minimum, a new coupler for the lower IC outlet (probably a 2.25" coupler that reduces to 2"). The EvoX lower IC pipe fits fairly well with some modification. How to: Upper/Lower IC pipes & EvoX Intercooler
