interesting. It looks good. But when it pops off...
srs though, is that rubber tubing you used where the bends are? does it flex at all under pressure? Looks pretty neat - let us know if you see any gains from that

no, it's all silicone. it doesn't flex at all. and those things were such a tight fit that i'm pretty damn positive they're not going to pop off.
as far as gains go... who knows? i can't feel any difference, and i don't have access to a dyno. some companies were reporting +10hp with just a hard uicp, so maybe there's a little bit of a gain. the butt dyno is not an accurate calibration tool, haha.
the biggest difference to me is the added sound. it's quite nice.

I'm interested, where did you get the parts? Are you going to post a how-to?

I'm not a big fan of the couplers, even if they are silicon. If I had access to a mandrel pipe-bender, I'd make my own UICP with aluminum tubing, but otherwise, I'm not sure it's worth it to do it myself.
Yours looks good, though! Congrats!

i'm kinda on the same boat. the couplers are a little much. i might just take my stock rubber hose to a muffler shop and see if they can bend one for me.
i got the couplers from siliconeintakes.com.
i used a 2" straight, 2" 45 degree, 2" hump, and a 1.75" straight. the piping is just 2" emt, and a small section of 1.75" heavy wall. it's pretty easy to figure out once you have the right materials.
