Rims powder coated??

hey so has anyone powder coated the stock rims for a 09 ralliart and how does it look and how much does it cost? and is it worth it or shoud l just buy new rims?

U will have to check around your area for a definitive price. I've seen some people get theirs done for $200 for all 4 and others get theirs done for up to $400. If u get it done at a quality place it will look good, if u cheap out and get it done for really cheap it might not look too good up close. If u really like the style of the stockers and would be happy with them in another color go for it and save some cash, if not just spend the extra $$ and get some rims that u really like. I was gonna powdercoat mine gunmetal, but decided just to use Duplicolor graphite high performance wheel paint cause I'm gonna get new rims in the next year so I just spent $40 to paint them rather then $300 to PC them. The Podercoating will hold up much better then Duplicolor but this will hold me over till I get my new rims. Check the 08+ lancer show and shine section, I've seen a few GTS' with powdercoated rims in different colors.

.........hey brad. how is the paint holding up ?

i am going to paint my stockers.....

.........i can not handle the "down-time" associated with the powder coating process.

I did mine almost 2 months ago and so far they are pretty much fine. I noticed a couple tiny little chips but u can only notice them if u get up close. That was with going for a good "run' on a gravel road right after I painted them so that might be where the few chips came from
