Drives: 09 Lancer Ralliart

out of alignment?

Hey guys,
Just passed 1500 miles on my 09 RA and I've started to notice it likes to pull to the left over 40MPH. Could it be out of alignment or is it torque steer- I've never driven a 4wd car with this much power so I'm not sure. Just noticed it last week after I started pushing it a little harder now that I'm getting used to it-big difference from my last car a 92 Mazda MX3

I have the same problem. I'm gonna go get it checked out by a friend who does alignments. My front drivers side wheel looks a bit tilted. Unless it's just a problem everyone has.

More than likely it just needs an alignment. If you're at 1500 miles then your suspension has probably broken-in and settled into place.

After my last alignment and even before it I noticed my RA pulled to the left.

lol, and I thought I needed to get an alignment too. I wonder how many other RA owners are noticing a slight drift/pull to the left?

*knocking frantically on wood*

9500 miles so far. Taken it off road. NYC highways. I have a very narrow ramp in my drive way so I'm practically driving up a curb every time I pull in or out. Slid the rear wheel side ways into a curb. I can still take my hands off the wheel going 80-90 and it'll track straight.

Maybe there's a reason your car tracks straight.

Come to think of it... the car was tracking a little to the left before I dented the drivers side rear rim.
