Proper Wheels to fit new brakes

AMS/Wilwood brakes don't fit with OEM Wheels

http://www.amsperformance.com/cart/A...Brake-Kit.html

Besides the EVO X wheels which seem to fit but with some fit issues with the rears (see EVO X Wheels on Ralliart )? Which custom wheels offer the same inner clearance for these AMS brakes? Anyone know?

Just trying to get a set of wheels that are a little more future upgrade proof. I have my eye on 18" OZ Ultraleggera atm.

18" diameter are required but offset, and spoke design are just as pertinent when choosing a wheel to clear any brig brake kit.

Nobody knows exactly what will fit over the Wilwood AMS BBK yet cause I don't think anybody has purchased them yet that I've seen and AMS has only tried the X wheels. Just keep checking in the AMS/Wilwood brake kit thread below and Eric will be putting a PDF for figuring out which wheels will fit over the brakes up in the next while.

If you find a wheel that will clear the brembos (evo x) then it would be safe to assume that it will clear the ams brakes...

Surely AMS can provide a fitment template so you can confirm if the wheels you are considering will fit???

Wait for AMS to come out with the template.

All you will need is either spacers on your stocks or roll your fenders and get the EVO X wheels.

EVO VIII and IX wheels will fit offset wise. AMS seems to doubt whether they will fit based on being a 17" rim, but I find that hard to believe considering 17" rims normally will fit over 13" rotors.

17" should fit over the Wilwood brake kit. Its the same caliper that many rally cars run and they have no problems. They might have meant 17" over the stock Evo X Brembos.
