Not sure bout the fitment, but i think some one with a black RA had the same setup (i think) with no problems.... well not on the stockers that's for sure

if its the same person im thinking of then running 245's for his rim would be ok since he had 8.5" wide rims...

245 on 8.5" wide... good....

245 on 7" wide.... not too smart... tire probably not seat correctly and blow right off the rim when doing a corner... lol

According to continental, 7.0-8.5" wide rims are approved for 225/45R18. So 225 seems to be the widest whilst still within spec.

i had 225s on my previous car (lancer GTS) they fit fine, remember MPG goes down when u get wider tires

Especially if they are heavier tires. Try to offset it a little with lighter wheels and lugs.
