They usually say that u shouldnt go below oem. Are you gonna run 50 profile instead of 45? I mean either way the back of the wheel may still rub if u lower it.

i will run 50 series, but i will gauge the sire wall size.. running a 245 instead of the 255 will drop the overall height of the tire.

I would suggest running a thinner wheel if you're attempting that tire width. There's no need to jump down to a 17" wheel to run a 245, plus it doesn't make much sense to increase the sidewall size (and thus increase flex) in order to run a wider tire, you're basically offsetting any gains that would be observed from the larger contact patch. On an 8.5" rim, I suspect you'll need to roll the fenders. I'm on a 17 x 8 wheel right now and I rub slightly in the rear when there's weight in the back. I have 245/40 tires. If I was going to do it again, I'd run the same wheel size but get a 235/40 tire.

the reason for the 17's is to reduce the overall weight + i like the look.
I would probably go with the 235 45 17 to avoid rubbing and get a slightly tugged look on the tires themselves.
17x8.5 may require minimal rolling, but i have the tool and am fine with using it.

Robispec prepped the sportback in the OP #1 picture...
a few misleading posts in this thread...the ralliarts have ZERO camber adjustability...front or rear
the rear gains camber more than the front as you drop the car.....
the stock "understeer/PUSH" gets worse because of this...
We used aftermarket camber bolts in the front to get the correct camber and the wheels fit within the fenders ZERO mods...
We had to ROLL THE HECK out of the rears...but it came out well.
LAST THIS CAR IS TOO LOW! We did thai at Mitsu's request to provide an aggerssige stance and test some prototype springs...the testing is done. the car will be 1" HIGHER front and rear.
Group buy for the first run of springs is going on NOW!

Sorry when you go too low the car looks great but you make the handling worse..something robispec isn't known for.....

robi.......thanks for clearing up the "camber debate" when lowering the R.A.
i took apart one side of my front suspension in anticipation of eventually lowering
my RA when i found a spring set i liked. i could not find a way to adjust anything
alignment wise ( except for toe ) as the car was assembled from the factory.
robi.... can we use any 14mm camber bolts that are the right length on the RA ?
......or....... is there a specific brand and size tht works best.
