We put Evo X GSR wheels on the Ralliart before taking it to the Redline Time Attack in Nashville. We got about 30 miles down the road and we had to stop at K-Mart and buy a wooden bat to roll the rear fenders. They were tearing up the tires pretty badly with 3 people deep and luggage.

With the rears rolled, we had no more rubbing problems except this one huge bump we hit that I swear almost broke the car. A tire did crease the front fender so they will need to be rolled a bit too.

The best thing would to buy some 18x8.5s with about 10mm less offset than the X wheels and wrap them in 245/40 18 rubber.

yeah thats what i was thinking. i've heard plenty of people say they had no probs with 235s. but 245s with that offset would definitely cause some trouble

and 235's look pretty aggresive imo; everyone who's seen my ra with 235s say it looks a lot like an evo from behind (besides the fact that they do look close cause, ahem... both are lancers? )

hey guys me and my buddy were just bored so he came over to my house and we swapped the wheels from his evo x gsr onto my ralliart.. The wheels did stick out, it made the car look so much more massive! I drove the car around and it felt awesome.. IT DID NOT RUB ANYWHERE! My ralliart is NOT lowered, i have stock suspension. As you can see for yourself there is still plenty room.

before driving ---drivers side evo x passenger stock ( yes i did swap out all wheels before driving)

Get some heavy friends to sit in the back before you say it won't rub. I would be shocked if it rubbed with just you in the car (and you'd know as soon as you installed them if this was the case).

this picture is the only one i have of sideways, i should have taken better pics.. but you can clearly see the huge gab just like the ralliart wheels that there is plenty of gap.. In this picture the car is sitting flat on the ground.... and sorry i dont have any way of taking nay more pics as my buddy had to drive home so we swapped them back. But he is willing to sell me the rims.. before that again i will do another test drive.. What i did was turned the wheels all the way right and left and no rubbing issues in the front.. I drove on my driveway which is about 1000 ft long, i did accelerate little bit no rubbing front or rear.. May be like was said above if i have some heavy friends they will rub. BUT i really doubt it.. with that big of a gap? Plus ralliart tires are 45 series and evo x are 40 series.
