fitment of Evo 8 /Evo 9 Brembos on 09 Ralliart
I did a basic seach but I only found a related topic about Evo X brakes on Ralliart. I am wondering if someone has information regarding Evo8/Evo 9 brakes on the new 09 Ralliart.
For the benefit of the forum I am offering if it hasn't been done before to test a set of Evo 9 Brembo brakes(my brakes) on your Ralliart. If you own a 09 Ralliart nearby Tucson I would like you to contact me and possibly stop by my house to test my Brembos on your car. I will do the job and we will report the findinds to this forum with pictures. Anyone?
Moderators, if there is a similar topic please feel free to delete this topic, I am just trying to help some people(the forum) out.
Thanks!!
Carlos

I am not getting any personal benefit out of this, in fact, it is my own free time. I am just doing it because if I find out that a set of Brembo brakes from Evo8 and Evo9 can fit a Ralliart then it would be a huge inpact for both(Ralliart owners and Evo8/9 part sellers).
Either way it is a win win situation..

If someone here thinks I am going to screw up your Ralliart don't worry, I have the tools and the experience, this should be a 30-45 minutes job (max).
We are talking about lifting one corner, removing one tire, lossing two bolts for the caliper, lossing the rotor and hand fitting the caliper with hand tighting the caliper screws. If this is a go, we will move to the back brakes.
The only thing I can think being an issue is perhaps the dust plate that normally covers the disc, it might be to small thus it might need to be temporarily remove but it should be a couple of 10mm screws.
Lets get the ball rolling guys, this doesn't involve bleeding brakes ,banging the control arms or nothing like that, it should be a simple in and out of my garage within a hour. Bring some cold beer though (J/K).

The knuckle is most likely different.

Unless the EVO uses a mcpherson type front suspension than it is different. With adapters you could make the calipers and rotors fit.

I thought the Evo X brakes fit on the Ralliart so if the past Evo brakes are the same, it should be a simple bolt-on job.

I am still up on my offer. I am trying to sell these Brembo brakes but I also want to kill two birds with one stone and make some good for the community.

Someone please try this. I'm very interested to know the result.
From what I've seen on this forum the EVO X brembo's do not fit so it will be interesting to see if the older versions do.
