It wasn't to bad. Mostly easy, the ends closest to the steering wheel were tough, and the left side. The door panels were easy after i disassembled the whole door. Not perfect but it looks good. Bought a yard, still got about half left over. Got if from http://www.carbonfabricsource.com/

Do you have any more detail on how to take the trim off? Does it really require removing the door panel or was that just because you weren't sure how to get it off at first?

You have to remove the whole door panel and then take the door half way apart. there are three screws, 1 by the door release under a small cap, one behind the door handle and one by the dllo latch. Next you will have to remove the the tweeter housing by pulling it. be careful not to rip out the wires. then use that hole to pull the poor panel off. work your way around. it will take a bit of force. both door have 2 sets of wire plus that need to be unplugged. there are two screws that hold the door release on. now panel is off. next remove about ten scews that hold the cloth insert on, it will be under the padding. i will write a proper walk thru if needed

Damn thats a lot of work for that piece, really not worth it at this time for what I wanted to do.

Nice man, I did the same thing with my interior. For those thinking of doing it, the hardest part is the edges and stretching that vinyl over without having crinkles and bubbles. Hey GCruz, can you post a pic of the gas cover. I have the same one on my car and have been thinking about doing that but would love to see what it looks like!
