DSport December 09 Ralliart Article
I just picked up the December 2009 issue of DSPORT and it has a five page article about the Ralliart in it! They mention how in the September issue they had a Ralliart tester that dyno'd incredibly low, but they used it for the 2010 New Car Review issue and kind of beat it up in the review. However, they found the problem was a missing boost pill from the install and removal of a MBC, so they decided to start modifying it!
They added a new manual boost controller, Buschur Exhaust, Buschur intercooler, Buschur Upper and Lower intercooler pipes, Robispec Lowering Springs, Brake Man front and rear brake kits, Ark Design wheels and Hankook tires. All said and done, it only ran 1.7 seconds slower than an EVO X MR on Buttonwillow Raceway. It's a pretty good article and worth the read if you pick the issue up. It's just good to see some love for the Ralliart!

It is a good article. I'm glad they are working with a ralliart. If only i had the $$ to do what they are doing to theirs.

My friend threw the magazine at me and told me to read it, and I must say its definetly more of an incentive for me to get a ralliart.

Big reason I picked the Ralliart over the Evo X (GSR, MR was too expensive) was because I could use the trunk, fold the seats down, and it was a more suitable daily driver. If I can mod my Ralliart to be a little quicker and still keep those qualities, I'll be a happy man. The things like the brake kit and monster intercooler I wouldn't do because how I use my car, it's overkill. I'd go with a used Evo X intercooler and better brake pads if anything. But they are building this thing for the track. I'm a firm believer that if you want a dedicated track car, drop the extra coin for an Evo. But it's awesome to see a Ralliart contending!

Jus read the article and my question is if the Gizzmo EBC really safe for the SST. According to AMS the boost pill is the safest way to load boost . I would like to have the boost controller but i need to kno if i will have problems in the future.
Also i wondering if they had any rubbing issues with that wheel set up while lowered.

I'm not sure about the MBC, but as far as the lowering springs go, the car didn't really look any lower than stock. Also, the Robispec spring weren't added into the final upgrade cost either. Weird.

Can anyone upload the article to rapishare or any other file hosting service?
I just can not find the mag anywhere in the island and since it is still in the stands... I can not ordered thru the dsport website on the back issues section. :-(

Not for me as I am subscribed to the mag for the past 2 years or so. It is just that my renewal has not kicked in and think that I am not going to receive the Dec 09 issue.
I may have to drop them an email to see what is going on.
