I think this guy is all talk... With the amount on money this guy talks about putting into his car he might as well have bought an Evo and saved himself some cash. I mean the reason I like the car so much is you get 80% of the Evo fun for $12K less but what's the point if you end up sinking more than that back into it? Whatever just doesn't make sense to me.

Id like to know where you work, because I can gaurentee you I do more mods then you on a smaller salary. I work at Hardee's, full time college student, and do all this on minimum wage. Dont like it, gtfo.

Honestly depends on where you live... If I didn't live in a crappy college town, I'd be spending 30-40% less for living expenses. That would add up quick and could easily go into the car.

I respect anyone that buys a car they can afford. Its alot easier on someone to pay for a car they can afford and do mods when they can then buy the most expensive car and struggle paying for it, let alone doing mods.

not necessarily, i bought my RA knowing that i would be spending the same, if not more, the price difference from the RA to the evo x. for me the evo x gsr didn't cut it as i wanted the practicality of a hatch plus the sst box. we are all enthusiasts here, so who would really leave a car stock anyway? so while you may spend the $ difference to make it faster, handling, braking etc on the ra, if one bought the evo x, how long would it be before you spent x dollars modifying that
