Drives: 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer RA

Auto-Lock

Does anyone know if it is possible to program the car to automatically lock all doors after drive is engaged?

I have the Navi unit and I know you can choose the option to have all doors auto-unlocked when put into park. Now I want the auto-lock in drive.

Help me! I want to be lazy

RTFM!

From what I remember, go under SET > Equipment and browse through that menu. It should be somewhere there, I think.

Unless there isn't a way to lock when it's in D - For that, there's a button on the driver door that will do that for you.

Yeah I went through all the options/settings in the system and it's not there. Unless it is hidden. I will check out the manual

But I will go through great lengths to lessen the work I need to do! That lock button on the door is far far away. lol

Engineer's POV: Work smarter, not harder.
So if the option is available, why not get ya?
One less button to press

I can't find the thread right now, but there is a thread about how to do this. The title has something to do with what else can the key fob do. From what I remember it's possible to do with the navigation in the car.

Good Luck!
