Vibration?

I have an 09 Ralliart with only 5k maybe I just noticed, or perhaps it has been there the whole time, but I notice a subtle vibration, mostly in the foot pedel , and steering wheel, after I get on the gas and then let off. It is strongest for several seconds and then goes away. Must be something to do with the clutch, transmition right?

Anyway anybody else have or notice the same thing? Something to get checked out?

i havn't really noticed any real bad vibration.. But iam not even sure what you are trying to explain. All cars have vibration of some sort.. All i could guess would be engine brakeing since you are giving it gas then letting off. Going to be really hard to pin point a vibration when not actually in the car.

I realize vibrations are hard to explain and figure out, but while it is weak, I can feel it every time after I get on the gas and completly let off. It is a difinitive vibration that lasts for just a few seconds and then goes away. Sorry so vague.

I have it too. I thought maybe it was the exhaust.

I dont think it is the exhaust, I think it feels like if you are in 3rd or 4th and you are just under the boost curve and hit the throttle and the car seems to stutter like it is going ughhh you want me to speed up now?! I just got relaxed at this speed type of situation.

My best way of explaining it.

Wow, I was just thinking about this today on my way home from work, and here is a thread about it. I've noticed it for a while. I have 7k miles on my car. I can get it to vibrate even when I don't perform WOT. It almost feels like when slowing down, I'm running over ripples in the pavement. I can't say why it's doing this. It may be normal for engine braking.

I have the same problem, seems to only happen just under 2700/2800 rpm. I think it has something to do with the turbo engaging / spooling or something.

It's the fuel rail vibrating, be careful your car may catch on fire!

Kidding. Wouldn't it be amusing if that was the case though? They never did specify the "dangerous" RPM range on the recall info...

It doesn't feel like it's coming from the exhaust. The vibration is being transferred to the front wheels. Pretty much as if originating from the engine bay.

Could it be the frequency of the exhaust resonating the rest of the car?

Remember the balancer shafts the 4B11T eschews to avoid the crankwalk issues of the 4g63?

Welcome to the tradeoff.
