Bluetooth kit + aftermarket head unit

Hello all,

to anyone who may know, if I bought the OEM bluetooth kit, will it still function if an aftermarket head unit is installed?

Just planning for some future installations. Thanks!

I think if you go the aftermarket route get a radio with bluetooth built in or an add on module.

I was going through the same process cause bluetooth was huge for me actually. I believe you can if you get an aftermarket head unit with bluetooth. I just wanted to see pictures of someone with an aftermarket head unit because ours is so large and I can't imagine an aftermarket flawlessly fitting the curve of the dash.

If you get the bezel for the navi from Mitsubishi ($45 i think) it makes it fairly clean to install an aftermarket system.

I'm interested in the OEM bluetooth because of the convenient steering wheel mounted buttons. I guess nobody has tried it yet. Darn.
