Buschur Racing 2009 Lancer Ralliart parts development
We were fortunate enough to get our parts development '09 Ralliart in here on Tuesday. We would like to give a special thank you to Mentor Mitsubishi for allowing us to use the car for the fabrication of parts.
I know, I know most of you will be wanting a base line on our dyno, hp increase #'s, etc... we were not wanting to abuse the car as it was a brand new car that was loaned to us.
Upon receiving the car, fabrication of our parts lineup immediately started. The car is substantially different from the X so it was back to the drawing board on the development. While some parts may look similar to the Evolution X parts I can assure you they are not.
In the 2 days that we had the car we were able to make a UICP kit, LICP kit, FMIC, mini battery kit and a 3" catback exhaust.
As soon as our production pieces arrive we will be looking for a volunteer for a parts install and dyno testing of the parts. We are expecting very similar gains to those we have already proven on the X. All of our products are free flowing and run the best route possible for maximum air flow.
Readily available for purchase right now is the mini battery kit, FMIC and Upper Intercooler Pipe kit. The items will be on the site shortly for purchase or you can order by phone.
Here are the pictures from the last 2 days of work.
The upper & lower IC pipes will be 304 mandrel bent stainless steel and available in either the brushed or polish finish.
Buschur Racing 2009 Ralliart 2.5" S.S. Upper IC Pipe
Polished Price: $310
Brushed Price: $280
NOTE: The BOV hose is not trimmed due to the car being a loner so that is why the BOV is sitting up high.
Buschur Racing 2009 Ralliart 2.5" S.S. Lower IC Pipe
Polished Price: $275
Brushed Price: $245
With the stock battery:
With BR Mini Battery Kit:
Buschur Racing 2009 Ralliart Mini Battery Kit
Price: $280
Saves 20lbs from the front of the car!
NOTE: The small bolt on the side you see will require you to drill a 1/4" in order to mount the tray.
Buschur Racing 2009 Ralliart 3" S.S. Catback Exhaust
Price: $850
Complete 3" design
No resonators or neck downs
304 Mandrel Bent Stainless Steel
Dual 4" polished rolled end tips
SOUND CLIP:
*YOUTUBE*
*STREETFIRE.NET*
Note: Pictured with Bullet muffler
Buschur Racing 2009 Ralliart 4.5" FMIC
Price: $759
NOTE: The FMIC will NOT sit that close to the A/C condenser. There is minor trimming needed on the tab you see on the left which will allow the FMIC to come forward. We were not able to trim that on the loner vehicle to show you but just for reference: http://buschurforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21016
Comparison between the stock FMIC and the Buschur Racing FMIC upgrade. CRAZY!
With this upgrade we are actually expecting to see a higher gains than that of our Evo X FMIC kit as you can see the difference between the 2 units here.
I hope to get that sound clip wrapped up of the exhaust on Monday so please check back for that. We will also update this thread as more information on the parts & development become available from us.
Thank you for looking.
Take care!

Great job on the post and photos Jarrod.
Some of the parts like the battery kits, front mount intercooler and upper i/c pipes are ready to go now. The exhaust and the lower i/c pipe will be ready to ship in about 2 weeks.

How does your Catback Exhaust compare in sound to the stock setup? How loud is it?
I understand how replacing the battery lightens the front end and I imagine replacing the larger FMIC allows for better cooling and more power. But. what's the deal with replacing the piping? Is it more direct or higher flowing piping or better materials?

Is it the same intercooler as the Evo X then? Not intercooler fitment issues, just the lower pipe that's different than the Evo? Great job!

Did you read the post above...he stated they had the car for fitment only as it was a dealer loaner...numbers when they get a customer test Ralliart.

Nice, any plans for a turbo-back exhaust setup?
Also what about brake pads and stainless-braided lines? The car seems a bit heavy for the brake system. Though it could just be me.
Another Question: What about a trunk mounted battery relocation kit, using the small battery you offer? With a box preferably.

LOL, i just went straight for the pictures. Sorry didn't read you didn't dyno it.
Looks big as heck for the Ralliart's turbo.
I was hoping the length covered the whole grill like on the Evo.
