black out third brake light??

Im blacking out my tails with VHT night shades tomorrow, and im wondering if I should also black out the third brake light on the trunk lid. I want opinions and thoughts please, and pics will DEFINITELY help if you have done it yourself!

thanks!

are you blacking it out or are you tinting it? if you want blackout use black vinyl or get plastidip.
if you still want it to light up, then either do vht, or buy some tint and do it yourself. Personally i would suggest buying tint, because you mats are much cheaper and you wont have to worry about uneven spray or overspray on your car. using tint is easier to do, takes less time, protects more than vht (unless clearcoated, which is more work and money), and is easier to remove.

I would only suggest using vht for sidemarkers... that being said, absolute did an awesome job with his tails
