just got my 527's wrapped in nitto nt neogens they are stickey!! not on the car yet as i dont have wheel spacers . Im not sure what size spacer i should go with and how much stress it will put on the studs as im going to hpr in a couple of weeks so i can test out my tires in the corners and do 1/4 mile runs here in 2 weeks so id like to get these in before then or if i could put the tires on as they are with no spacers for a couple of days and be fine.

Well to be safe but yeah, 16x8 clears the front if you're not lowered. It only rubs on my mudflap in reverse at full lock. But yeah just a 5mm spacer would be fine. Get a hubcentric 67.1mm one if you do. It cost a bit more but your studs will thank you in the future.

I ran 17x7.5 +45 with 20mm in the rear with 215/45 and I had to roll but they were FLUSH. As for the fronts I needed like 10mm-15mm spacers but ended up selling the wheels before I did. With 17x7.5 +48 I'd recommend 20mm spacers and for the front 15mm spacers. Run 205/40 tires since you said you want stretch. Then roll your fenders to make sure you are not rubbing. Now if you want to avoid big spacers try to get a lower offset if you can.
Also it won't be hell on studs if you get hubcentric spacers. I believe 10mm is where it starts with hubcentric spacers.
One more thing is it also depends on what type of spacers you get.
The bolt on type spacers I believe start at 15mm.
Now if you get the slide on type over your actual studs, if you go pass 5mm you'll have to get extended studs for bigger spacers. So keep that in mind when looking and deciding on which spacers you want.
Nc_bboy is right on point. Props, that should be sticky'd lol. When messing with studs, always try to get eveything hubcentric (if you can). It keeps the ride comfortable and is less harsh on studs.
