rear strut bar question...evo interchangeability?

Whats up guys, ive got a quick question for you all. Im interested in buying a rear strut bar (works rear strut with drop bars and rs bar). Ive got a guy willing to give me a pretty good price on them, but i was curious as to wether or not it would fit my 05 RA. Arent the VIII and IXs based off the same lancer chassis? Otter, care to chime in here? Haha.

Oh, and another question while were in the same area of the car...will an evo 8/9 all-weather floormat fit my ra? Im pretty sure there arent any differences here, do they share the same part #?

The evo strut bar wont work my friend. The lancer and evo chassis's are somewhat the same but very different in the rear section.
Your man problem is the evo strut towers are completely different to the lancer ones meaning anything designed for the evo trunk or rear section will not for on the lancer.

The floor mats will fit no problem though.

yup that's the way it is... I also wanted a TEIN Rear Strut Bar but I noticed the towers were different

do u guys think.... there's a sway bar or any suspension bars from other car that would fit our car? just curious i got a feeling there isnt, but might as well ask it, lol!
