odd noise from brakes?

ok so i got some drilled rotors a couple weeks ago,put on the fronts myself(had to have a shop do the rear as a caliper bolt was stripped they had to swap it) and the pads are some no name pad which i plan to replace but while braking the car does this odd sound almost like when you hear a bicycle with something flapping in the spokes lol. like a chick chick chick sound. the guy at the shop said its common for drilled rotors to make noises but i wasnt expecting that noise lol. is this common? i plan to swap to better pads soon so idk if that will help. i do know the braking is better though much more bite.

only thing i could think would be not heating up the pads when you first installed them. but if you're going to upgrade your rotors you might as well upgrade the pads to like Hawks or EBC

only notice it when i am slowing down. and mainly only in areas where the sound can bounce off of something lol. the shop told me it will make noise because their drilled rotors and the performance will be better but there will be a noise. i just expected a squeek or something lol. and yes its a chk chk chk sound.
